Our NEWEST tool in the Barb-Tech™ lineup. Barb-Tech™ PQD is a revolutionary tool to address the assembly of Quick Disconnect (QD) fittings commonly used in water systems in the plastic injection molding industry.
The tools come with a dedicated mandrel set designed to hold straight and 90° Quick Disconnects while installing 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ Push-Lok hose to connect to your mold.
Barb-Tech™ PQD is portable and light weight and saves time by taking the tool to the hose instead of taking the hose to the tool.
Barb-Tech™ PQD tool is now offered as two different kits with a dedicated mandrel set to hold either Custom Mold style or Parker Moldmate style 90° fittings for 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ Push-Lok hose sizes.
Optional mandrels are available for Parker Moldmate style 45° fittings.
Barb-Tech™ PQD-CM Hose Assembly Tool Kit
Barb-Tech™ PQD-CM Kit comes with a mandrel set designed to be compatible with Custom Mold style Flow -Thru Quick Disconnect fittings used in the water systems common in the plastics injection molding industry.
Barb-Tech™ PQD-CM tool simplifies and reduces installation time of straight and 90° 200, 300, and 500 series QD fittings.
Mandrels sizes and styles change easily using the quick change “Click-On” mandrel system.
Light weight and portable, take the tool to where the hose is.
No additional tools or attachments required
Our tool simplifies and reduces installation, by allowing maintenance staff to bring the tool directly to area, reducing down time. No additional tools or attachments are required, allowing for easier repairs directly at the equipment site.
Our tool kit is pre equipped with 6 mandrels.
3 mandrels for straight fittings and 3 mandrels for the Custom Mold Style Flow Thru quick disconnect fittings.
If you have an additional need for the Parker Moldmate fittings, you may add the mandrel set for Mold mate fittings, with out the need to purchase a second tool kit.
